Michael Jackson Walks Free

That was the headline of The Independant yesterday. Notice "Walks Free" not "Is Innocent", not "Not Guilty" but "Walks Free".
The trial was a farce, and personally I believe Jackson to be guilty as charged. But then again, I wouldn't put anything past a man who changed the colour of his own skin and who dangles babies out of windows.
Of course, all of the fans outside should really have been removed. Why? Because they were in contempt of court. Who could argue that all those placards weren't trying to influence the jury? There should be a retrial, and the Prosecution should make sure they do it probably.
Anyway, he's bankrupt now ($200 million in debt) so we won't be seeing much more of him, hopefully. Unless he releases a new single to try and cover his debts (which it won't). God help us if that happens.

Be Seeing you

Still leaves him with a lot of debt. Actually they won't, seeing as it has to be awarded by the Judge, and it wasn't.

No, he was found not guilty. THe difference is this:
If you're not guilty, the evidence is not sufficient to convict you, but you might still have done it.
If you're innocent (or aquitted,) which Jackson wasn't, because the Judge didn't aquit him, then there would be evidence stating positively that he hadn't done it.
